Nicola is the firm’s Managing Partner and is responsible for the day to day management of the firm. She is also responsible for planning and developing the business strategy to drive the firm forward.

Nicola joined us in 2000 and qualified as a solicitor in 2003. She was made a Partner in 2006. She is based predominantly at the Wimborne Office where she specialises in Wills Probate and all aspects of work relating to the elderly client including Lasting Powers of Attorney and Deputyship Applications. Nicola was also head of our busy conveyancing department for several years and specialises in all aspects of residential conveyancing and related property matters.

 

Before qualifying as a solicitor Nicola was a nurse working in the community with elderly patients and as a result has experience of dealing with those suffering from Alzheimers Disease and those that have been bereaved.  Nicola has empathy and compassion when dealing with elderly clients.

 

An active member of the Bournemouth and District Law Society, Nicola is also one of a team of solicitors who provide an advisory service at the Wimborne Citizens Advice Bureau.  In the past she helped to organise a local charity event in Wimborne raising over £10,000 for Poole Hospital.

 

Having always lived in Dorset, Nicola enjoys reading, walking, cycling, cooking and going to the theatre. 

Nicola also has a keen interest in homeopathic remedies and alternative therapies, holds a Reiki practitioner certificate, and is a Companion of the Chalice Well Garden in Glastonbury - a retreat for people of all faiths and denominations.
