Head of Litigation
Hugh is head of our Litigation and Employment department. He is a litigation and insurance litigation specialist with 25 years experience in all types of litigation including employer, public, product and motor liability claims.
Qualifying in 1981, Hugh was a partner in a well known city firm, working from its offices in Southampton, before joining us in 2004. He is head of our litigation services based at Oxford Road, and concentrates on commercial, property and related litigation for private companies, as well as defamation claims.
Hugh acquired a BA Hons before attending the College of Law to qualify as a solicitor. He is also an accredited mediator for alternative dispute resolution (ADR).
Hugh’s interests include sailing, cricket, shooting and the countryside.
