Erica Cottrell

Expertise:

Erica is Head of the Family Law Team with over 10 years experience of all aspects of family law including divorce, separation, civil partnership dissolution, and children cases.

She has particular expertise in complex children cases, which require sensitive handling. She also has an interest in divorce cases involving assets abroad, having previously acted for clients with assets in France, Spain, Gibraltar, and Thailand. She is passionate about her work and will leave no stone unturned to achieve the best result for the client.

Her experience enables her to bond with clients from diverse backgrounds quickly and easily. She regularly receives personal recommendations from previous satisfied clients, and has even been recommended several times by her opponent’s clients.

Originally from Sussex, Erica trained in Portsmouth and qualified straight into family law, gaining experience in private practice in the Poole area before joining Harold G Walker in 2006. She is married to a local science teacher and they have two children. Out of work Erica enjoys a variety of sport such as swimming, running and skiing, when she’s not racing around after her children!
