Alan qualified as a solicitor in May 1976 and became a partner at Harold G Walker in May 1989.Throughout that time he has concentrated on all types of commercial and residential property related work, and is currently specialising in residential property work.
Born in Liverpool, Alan finished his schooling in Guildford, Surrey before returning to Liverpool University to study law, but was tempted to come to Bournemouth to complete his training and has stayed here ever since.
Alan claims that he used to play a variety of sport, but admits he is now an armchair fan, save for visits to the gym to maintain some semblance of fitness. Having worked in vineyards in Germany for 6 months after leaving school, he is still interested in wine and is a member of the Wimborne Wine Society.
